Andres Iniesta is the hero of the Final of FIFA Soccer World Cup South Africa, as he scored the lone goal for Spain in 116 minute to take them to Golden World Cup glory for the first time against Netherlands on Sunday, 11th July, 2010 at Johannesburg.
Fenando Torres introduced in the 2nd extra time and his pass to Cesc Fábregas who passed to Iniesta converted into a brilliant goal. Spain are now the 2nd team to win FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro Cup 2008 at the same time after Germany in 1974.
Spain won the world cup in their first final on the other hand Netherlands lost their 3rd Final after back to back lost in 1974 against West Germany and in 1978 against Argentina.
Match gone to extra time after goal less 90 minutes with few shots on targets and lot of yellow cards, 7 for Netherlands and 5 for Spain and few missed opportunities from both sides as Goalkeepers were hero for great saves.
